Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These are the rules for using Anwyra. By installing the app you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.

1. What Anwyra is

Anwyra writes a fictional life, one chapter at a time. Everything in it is invented: the character, the people around them, the events, the cities. It is not advice, not a prediction, and not a description of anyone real.

It is fiction, and it can be heavy. The story deals with illness, loss, divorce, war and prison, because a life contains those. It is handled with care, but it is not a comfort app. If you are going through something difficult, please look after yourself first.

2. Who may use it

You must be 16 or older, or older if your country requires it. One account per person. Do not share your account.

3. Your account

You sign in with an email address or a Google account. Keep it secure — the lives you have lived are tied to it, and we cannot restore them to a different account. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → My account.

4. Anwyra Plus

5. Gifts

Gifts are one-off purchases of small in-story objects. Once a gift has been delivered into a story it has been used, and it cannot be returned. Gifts have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, resold or transferred outside the app.

6. Other people

You can add friends, meet other readers' characters in your chapters, and attach a short note to a gift. That note is the only free text that travels between people, and the rules for it are simple.

Do not use it to:

You can block a person at any moment; after that nothing more reaches you from them.

7. Reporting something

If a note or a character name is abusive, write to [email protected]. Say what you received and from whom. We look at every report and can remove content, block an account, or both. Serious matters — anything involving a child, or a credible threat — are acted on immediately and reported to the authorities where required.

8. What you may not do

9. The text of your life

The chapters written for you are yours to keep. Read them, export them as a book, print them, show them to whomever you like. We claim nothing over them and we never publish them.

The app itself — its code, its engine, its illustrations, its name and its mark — belongs to us and is not licensed to you beyond using the app.

10. Interruptions and changes

The app depends on services we do not own — stores, cloud servers, a language model. Sometimes a chapter will fail to arrive. We fix such things as quickly as we can, but we cannot promise the app never stops.

We may change or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces what a paid subscription gives you, we will say so before it takes effect.

11. Liability

Anwyra is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country — those rights stand whatever this page says.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change them, the date at the top changes and the app tells you the next time you open it. Continuing to use Anwyra after that means you accept the new version.
